Simon Cowell brought his beautiful bride-to-be, makeup artist Mezhgan Hussainy, out on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno Monday, and discussed the couple's engagement, which we  first reported to you weeks ago here on RadarOnline.com.

At the beginning of the questioning, Simon was shy discussing his relationship.

"Are rumors you're engaged true?" Leno said.

"Are they true?" Simon said. "Well, I do have somebody in my life now, Jay, yes. And I kinda made a decision this year to make somebody happy."

Leno then asked Simon, 50, about the size of the engagement ring he bought Hussainy,36,  at which point Simon admitted he was "blushing."

"I find this very uncomfortable," he said. "I was asleep, I think. No, look, I bought her the ring in London."

Hussainy was eventually introduced from the audience and joined Leno and Cowell on the stage, where her and Simon kissed to a chorus of cheers.

"I think I'm done," Hussainy -- who told us exclusively about the engagement February 27 -- said, departing as fast as she appeared.

The interview continued with Simon staying coy on Jay's question if he wanted kids in the near-future. Simon said that at his age, he’s a little old to start having kids, although he did add in his trademark deadpan way, “it would be important to have a lot of little mes around in the universe.”

The Tonight Show with Jay Leno airs on NBC weeknights at 11:35/10:35c.
