It was R-Pattz pandemonium in New York City Monday night at the red-carpet premiere of Remember Me as superstar Robert Pattinson shocked everyone when he walked the red carpet with gal pal Kristin Stewart!
And RadarOnline.com was there as hundreds of diehard fans braved the chilly weather for a chance to get up close to their Twilight heartthrob.
A big-hearted Pattinson greeted the 10-deep screaming fans, who at one point, forced a street at the top end of Manhattan to be shut down.
And the impromptu R-Pattz decision to walk the line, sign autographs and pose photos for his adoring fans sparked a security moment for his protective entourage.

The detail appeared nervous to get their superstar inside the Paris Theatre for the premiere of romantic drama, where Kristin was waiting.
R-Pattz spoke - amid the screams - to RadarOnline.com on the red carpet.
In Remember Me, Pattinson plays a rebellious son of a wealthy New Yorker who ends up falling in love with Ally, the daughter of a Queens policeman.
His co-stars gushed about working with the Twi-hunk, especially Australian Emilie de Ravin, who locks lips with Pattinson in the film.
"He's a lovely guy," De Ravin said. "Nothing felt unnatural or weird."
