Rielle Hunter finds her photo spread in the April issue of GQ magazine “repulsive” and burst out crying when she first saw it, RadarOnline.com can report.
Hunter’s negative reaction to the pictures was described on The View Monday by Barbara Walters who said she spoke with Hunter today.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Hunter finally breaks her silence about her affair with former presidential candidate John Edwards in the upcoming issue of GQ. In the article, she talks about the extreme attraction they felt for each other upon meeting at a hotel in New York in 2006, and she reveals that they slept together the very first night they met.
Walters said that Hunter said she “cried for two hours” after seeing the pictures.
In one pic, Hunter lays in a bed with Frances Quinn, her 2-year-old daughter with Edwards, with her tummy exposed.
When Walters asked Hunter why she posed for the spread in the first place, "she said she trusted Mark Seliger, whom she said is a brilliant photographer and quote, 'I went with the flow.'"
Walters also said that Hunter claimed Edwards “knew she was doing the article and didn’t object to it.”
As of Hunter’s involvement with Edwards today, Walter said Hunter replied: “We are co-parents and have a very loving relationship.”
The new issue of GQ hits stands Tuesday.
