The Betty White express continues to roll: The 88-year-old Golden Girls star's reign at the top of the pop culture mountain continued on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno Tuesday, and RadarOnline.com has all the highlights.
White's career has been on the upswing as of late, as she inked a deal to co-star in TV Land's Hot in Cleveland Tuesday, and -- thanks to a fan uproar on the Internet -- will be hosting Saturday Night Live on May 8.
When Leno asked her if she had any intention on retiring, White responded, "That's a word I'm not familiar with."
She discussed the grassroots campaign that started on a Texas man’s Facebook page to get her the SNL gig.
“It kept building, and building and building and the next thing you know, Lorne Michaels is asking me to do Saturday Night Live,” she said.
As For Facebook? White said: “I heard of it, but I didn’t have a clue what it was -- I’m not technologically adept.”
