Kristen Stewart has come a long way since her early years in Hollywood! The tomboy-turned-fashionista star of The Runaways has taken a head first drive into couture this year, showing off her eccentric personality in offbeat designs from Proenza Schouler, Jasmine de Milo and Doo.Ri. From Twilight to the Joan Jett biop, Kristen has definitely transitioned into an edgier look, having fun with punk rock hair and darker eye makeup.

In 2004, Kristen showed up to the Sundance Film Festival wearing an American Eagle sweatshirt with blue jeans and Converse kicks. Though her red carpet style has evolved since then, there is a good chance you will still find her in a pair of Chuck Taylor's, while she is strolling through an airport somewhere in the world.

Kristen had fashion critics drooling in March, when she walked the press line at the Academy Awards, gowned in a graciously glamorous Monique Llhuillier strapless, which was deeply hued in midnight blue.

At the Los Angeles and NYC The Runaways, the young actress brought a little bit of sexy back, showing off her legs in uber-short minis from Doo.Ri and Emilio Pucci, respectively.

What was Kristen's best look over the years?  Check out the gallery in Style and find out.
