Paris Fashion Week: First Lady Of California Gets Yves Saint Laurent Lovely
March 9 2010, Published 7:51 a.m. ET
The front row of the Yves Saint Laurent Autumn Winter 2010 ready-to-wear runway show at Paris Fashion Week, was filled with sassy singers, iconic actress’ and…the First Lady of California. The gorgeous wife of “The Governator”, Maria Shriver, was sleekly striped in a haute zebra blazer, as she took in the monochromatic collection.
Designer Stefano Pilati unveiled a sophisticated collection of skirts, blouses and dresses, which were classically tailored with a modern edge. Though the collection featured a lot of satin (mostly black), there were delightful blasts of fuchsia, blue, teal and marigold. Long, black gloves were worn by most of the models who sashayed down the catwalk, in YSL’s signature platforms.
