RadarOnline.com had a few questions for the brunette beauty on her experience in the industry.
How did you get into modeling?
My very first agent took me on a trial basis. She said, "Your too big, but you’re really pretty. I don't know what I'm going to do with you, but we’ll try you out.” A couple months later she saw the Dove Real Women, Real Beauty campaign, called me into her office and told me to get some pictures taken, because I "should be modeling.”
Do you ever feel any pressure within the industry to lose weight?
All the time. If it's not, "you're too big" then it's 'you're too small, too tall, too young, too old, your hair's too long, too short" and on and on and on. I've heard almost everything at this point.
In this industry, it's a lot easier to say no than yes. Every new trend is a huge risk with a lot riding on it. If you want to be a part of it, you have to rise above all the excuses and prove you are worth the risk!

What do you think about Jessica Simpson's new television show?
I think the concept for Jessica’s show is amazing. How and why women feel beautiful differs around the world, but feeling beautiful is something I think we all strive for. Exposure to different traditions and practices can only expand how and what we view as beautiful and I look forward to seeing what Jessica discovers in her travels.
Do you have any tips on dressing for your body type?
1. Love what you got... No one else can work it the way you do
2. Accentuate your curves... They should be dangerous even in the blandest of outfits
3. Have fun. Find at least one feature you feel fabulous about that day and work you outfit around it! For example, my hands after a manicure... I’ll rock some fingerless gloves and accent the rest of my outfit with a similar color or texture.
