EXCLUSIVE: Michael Lohan Rushed To Hospital
"I just got off the phone with Dina and we were crying to each other," Lohan told RadarOnline.com Sunday afternoon while driving back to his Southampton, NY home with girlfriend Kate Major.
As we exclusively reported Saturday night, Michael and Kate were in Massachusetts where Michael was scheduled to fight in a Celebrity Boxing Match. After failing his pre-fight physical, Lohan began experiencing intense "pins and needles" in his left arm and EMTs decided to rush him to the hospital. His blood pressure was measured at 170/124.

"I've got either a blood clot or a blockage," a weak-sounding Lohan said Sunday. "They told me, 'This is a stroke waiting to happen'. What's crazy is that the day before we left, I had my Nitro in the little pocket of my jeans and Kate was doing laundry and washed the jeans, and I lost it. Thank God when this incident happened last night, there was a man standing nearby who had Nitro on him."

Michael also revealed that his medical emergency was no surprise.
"They wanted to put stents in my heart three years ago, but I never did anything about it," he said. "Last night at the hospital they wanted to do it right there but my cardiologist in New York said is was too invasive. I used to be on medication for this problem. I never told anyone. And then I stopped taking it, frankly because it made me gain weight and I'm such an a**h*** about being in shape and exercising."
