Corey Haim’s mother told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview Wednesday that her son was living with her and helping her as she battles cancer.

“I am a cancer victim and Corey was helping me at home,” Corey’s mother Judy told RadarOnline.com at the apartment where Corey collapsed.

“He was a good boy. I’m devastated by his death.”

Then she was simply too overcome by emotion to say anything more.

Judy called 911 early Wednesday and paramedics arrived at the apartment Judy and Corey shared at 12:53 am.

The reason Corey lived with his mother is because she was battling breast cancer and he wanted to take care of her, several sources confirmed independently to RadarOnline.com.

While Corey battled drugs off and on for years, he was always close to his mom.

And in his final days, it was his mother who was his main concern. She was undergoing chemotherapy.

Corey’s parents were divorced and he previously admitted to not having a close relationship with his father Bernie.

Judy is an Israeili-born data processor who enrolled him in acting lessons in an attempt to help him battle shyness. He previously said he turned to prescription meds to calm him down.
