“I just kind of wanted to do it organically,” she told Ryan. “I just wanted to sit around great musicians and Billy was so kind to be able to help me out with the song. I can’t find good enough words to speak about Billy. He’s a very, very dear friend.”

But knowing that Jessica was still stinging from the Playboy tell-all from John Mayer, Billy was cautious to say anything more about their relationship, “If I go, ‘Oh, we’re just friends,’ then it’s like, ‘Did they go out, did he dump her or she dump him, what happened?’”
.
As for Jessica, she is grateful for her friendship with Billy, “For him to give his time and his talents and share them with me. It was a great experience and I hope we can do more music together.”
