Chris Harrison rang into Ryan Seacrest's KIIS FM breakfast show (listen) Tuesday morning in the wake of what has been the most controversial and scandal ridden season of the hit show The Bachelor.
VIDEO: The Bachelor Finale - Jake Picks Vienna
The season went out with a bang, as RadarOnline.com previously reported Jake gave his final rose to Bachelor "bad girl" Vienna Girardi, by far, not the most popular choice.
Chris defended Jake's choice, even going so far as to say he was impressed by Jake's bravery at going against the grain. Chris also dished on the Rozlyn Papa scandal and Jake's dancing skills.
Chris admitted that he didn't enjoy having the spotlight turned on him when Rozlyn Papa accused him of flirting with a married woman. He explained that his reputation is very important to him and that he's "married and a dad, and my kids going to school, that's more of me than trying to drum up the attention." But Chris says that he has no hard feelings towards Papa, going on to say, "She got what she wanted out of it, attention, she got to go on the TV shows and talk about it. Good luck to her."

When asked if Jake made the right choice, a diplomatic Chris said, "Who are we to say they don't deserve each other and aren't happy? Who are we to say they're not going to be happy? Right now they are." Although he conceded that, "If it were down to the popular vote Vienna would not be the girl."
But Chris said he admired Jake for going with his heart rather than the popular consensus, "I'm very proud of Jake for not following the popular vote. He went against America and probably went against his parents." Going on to say, "He fought like hell for Vienna" and that that was a sign of "how much he loves her".

Chris said that we are not going to have to wait too long to see the new series of the Bachelorette, staring Ali, sharing that filming is due to start in around a month and it will air after Dancing With The Stars finishes.
And talking of Dancing With The Stars, Chris said he was totally shocked by the surprise announcement that Jake is set to star in the show, and that, "I did not see this coming." It seems Chris isn't going to be betting any hard earned cash on Jake winning though, as when asked if Jake is a good dancer, he said, "I really don't think he is!"
