Super Bowl XLIV Most Watched TV Show In History

It's official - Sunday's Super Bowl XLIV broadcast was a bona fide smash hit for airing network CBS.
According to estimates released by the Nielson Co over 106.5 million viewers tuned in to watch the New Orleans Saints beat the Indianapolis Colts.
That makes it the most watched television program in history, even beating out the 1983 M*A*S*H finale.
And it's a significant rise on last years viewing figures, when 98.7 million viewers tuned in.
