The pouring rain didn’t put a damper on the festive mood inside the exclusive New York City hotspot Avenue on Tuesday, where the CEO of American Media, David Pecker was on-hand to announce the female winner, while President of Wilhelmina, Sean Patterson announced the male winner of the ultra competitive Wilhelmina Hot Body Model Search, presented by Shape and Men’s Fitness.

Over 4,000 gorgeous men and women entered the nationwide contest, so the competition was fierce and fabulous, but only one lucky man and woman went home with the top prizes, which included a photo shoot in Men’s Fitness for him and Shape magazine for her, as well as a membership to Gold’s Gym and a 5-year modeling contract with Wilhelmina Models.

Though the decision was tough, Nerijus Bagdonas, a 25-year-old personal trainer from New York City and Viktoria Telek, a 28-year-old commercial real estate broker from Miami, Florida were named the winners.

“It means a lot,” Nerijus told us of his victory. “I started reading Men’s Fitness when I was 16-years-old and got really into the idea of working out. I would cut out pictures and say this is the way I want to look.  I think it got me to where I am today.”

The hunky New Yorker, who maintains his 6-pack from weight lifting, intense cardio, internal training, kickboxing and proper stretching, also avoids eating processed foods but can’t resist the chocolate brownies!  “I have to have it at least once a week.  I give myself balance so I can feel good about myself.”

Viktoria, who has done some modeling in the past, attributes her perfectly sculpted bod to an active lifestyle, which includes boxing, dancing, boot camp and spinning.  “I always change it up to keep it interesting and challenging, but I can tell you I am doing this stuff 6 days a week,” she explained to Star Magazine.

When asked if she could be on the cover of any magazine which one would she choose, Viktoria answered without hesitation.  “Shape magazine!”
