Golf Writers Boycott Tiger Woods

As RadarOnline.com previously reported camp Tiger have announced that the golf ace will be making a statement to the world's press Friday morning.
But it looks like there could be a few empty seats when Tiger Woods takes to the stage. On Thursday the Golf Writers Association of America announced that they plan to boycott the media event and will not be sending any writers to cover.
In a statement Vartan Kupelian, president of the association said, "This is a major story of international scope. To limit the ability of journalists to attend, listen, see and question Woods goes against the grain of everything we believe in."

Woods announced Thursday that he will be making a statement, during which he is expected to offer apologies for what he described on his website as "transgressions". He will not be allowing, or answering, any questions.
