In bizarre video exclusively obtained by RadarOnline.com Nolte, looking disheveled and hiding long hair under a hat, takes us on a tour of Venice Boardwalk’s trash cans and dumpsters in his hunt for a missing bag he says was taken from him.
Starting off at a boardwalk lemonade stand and progressing to rummaging through the trash cans in his fruitless search, a mumbling Nolte hints at what may be the reason he's so keen to find the bag - his missing stash!

“Somebody’s probably swallowed a bottle of Xanax by now,” Nolte says to the photographer in the video. “And they’ve probably had a beer or two.”
Whatever he did have in his bag, the Cape Fear actor was determined to search every garbage can in the neighborhood.

From what we can tell, he never found what he was looking for..
Despite starring in such well known films as The Prince of Tides and, most recently Tropic Thunder, Nolte’s personal life has been erratic. In 2002, he was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, subsequently providing what could be one of the best celebrity mug shots of all time. Tests later determined that Nolte was under the influence of the drug GHB, or “the date rape drug.”
