EXCLUSIVE: Redmond O'Neal's Letter From Behind Bars

Redmond O'Neal says he has finally committed to turning his life around following a checkered history of jail and drugs. Underlining how serious O'Neal is, the troubled son of Ryan O'Neal and the late Farrah Fawcett has released a handwritten note exclusively to RadarOnline.com in which he vows to leave his old life, and habits behind him.

In the note Redmond writes, "My plan is to go back with a new attitude and leave my old ideas behind. I am committed to doing this thing."
Redmond O'Neal Released From jail To Return To Treatment
As RadarOnline.com previously reported Redmond was given another shot at getting his life together on Tuesday when a judge ordered him released from jail and returned to Impact, a residential treatment center in Pasadena.
Judge Issues Redmond A Stern Warning
Redmond had previously been undergoing in-patient treatment at Impact, before relapsing and landing back in jail.

Redmond Arrested On Drugs Charges Again - While In Rehab
Redmond's legal ace attorney, Richard Pintal tells RadarOnline.com, "Redmond will be back at Impact within the next several days. I have every hope that he will be successful while there. His residential treatment could last anywhere from 6-12 months."
Redmond's next scheduled court appearance is on March 3rd.
