BREAKING NEWS: Canadian Police Issue Release, They Believe Andrew Koenig Still In Vancouver Area

As Star Trek actor Walter Koenig and his wife arrive in Vancouver, British Columbia from Los Angeles to search for their missing son, former child star Andrew Koenig, police in Vancouver are saying that they believe the 41-year-old is still alive.

A press release issued Tuesday by Canadian authorities confirmed an exclusive report by on Monday that revealed police had tracked Andrew’s cell phone and banking records and that has led them to the belief that Andrew is in the Vancouver area.

Here is the press release from Canadian authorities:

“There’s no new information to report in the disappearance of Andrew Koenig.  Investigators continue to follow up on the many tips they have received.

“Cell phone and banking records up until the time he disappeared lead police to believe he is still in the Vancouver area. There has been no cell phone or bank activity since February 16th when he was last seen in south Vancouver.

“Police are still hopeful that Andrew will be found alive and safe.

“Anyone with information on Andrew’s whereabouts or events leading up to his disappearance is asked to call the Vancouver Police Missing Persons Unit at 604-717-2530. Any sightings can be reported to 911 or local police.”

As reported exclusively on Monday there have been multiple sightings of Andrew in the Vancouver area and that has given his friends and police hope that he is alive and well. Numerous friends have told that Andrew has battled depression for much of his life.
