Michael C Hall kept his acceptance speech short and sweet at Sunday night's Golden Globes, thanking the cast and crew of his hit TV show Dexter along with his co-star and wife Jennifer Carpenter, as he accepted his award for Best Actor in a TV Drama.
Hall, who was wearing a knitted black hat, presumably to cover up his hair loss from chemotherapy treatment, seemed a little breathless at times during his speech, but made no mention of his battle with cancer.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported the actor is battling Hodgkin's lymphoma. Thankfully, in a recent statement Hall said that he is in remission and is nearing the end of his treatment.

Hall may have seemed unemotional during his speech but his co-star and fellow winner of the evening, John Lithgow, could be seen choking back tears as he watched Hall accept his much deserved award.
