Elin Nordegren has spent the last week in the French Alps with close family and friends, a British newspaper is reporting.
Tiger's wife is staying in a $8,000-a-night chalet near the resort of Chamonix with her twin sister Josefin and five friends, according to the London Sun. Rain thwarted her one attempt to hit the slopes, according to witnesses.
"She told Tiger she needed a lengthy time apart to reflect on how they might possibly salvage the marriage," a source told the paper.
Tiger has not been seen since his Thanksgiving night SUV crash. The Sun did not mention the whereabouts of the couple's two children.
The sighting comes on the heels of a report out of Florida that cops had Tiger show them his chest, back and arms in a meeting four days after his crash. They were looking for signs of domestic abuse which was suspected at the time, but found none.
