Taylor Swift may have moved on from (but stayed friends with) Twilight's Taylor Lautner, but the twenty-year old always walks away with lessons
learned. She recently dished on her top 10 love rules so listen up!
What was her number one rule? Learning to love being single. Despite co-starring in the upcoming film Valentine's Day, the crooner is happy having a less-than traditional take on the holiday.
"I typically don't ever have a boyfriend on Valentine's Day. I see it as an opportunity to just hang out with my other single girlfriends," she recently
told Girls Life magazine. "Being single is something that I have never looked at as being a curse. It's that time for you to figure out what you like and how you like to spend time by yourself. That's a gift."

Another rule? Make clean breaks from your exes. (hint, hint Joe Jonas)
"Don't answer his e-mails especially after a relationship is over. I'm a big fan of just cutting it off because I know myself and I'm not the kind of person who can just be buddy-buddy with a guy after we break up, especially if it was a bad breakup. I'm not into letting it linger and drag on
forever."
