Hollywood's hottest stars spent hours agonizing over what to wear to the Awards Show Season kick-off, and only a few made the hot list!  The red carpet winner of the evening was classy country crooner Carrie Underwood, who shied away from her usually embellished gowns and opted for a très chic Christian Cota white, strapless mini with black, webbed overlay. The recently engaged singer added edgy Rock & Republic heels with geometric cutouts and carried a black Lauren Merkin clutch.

Diane Kruger, who rarely fails on the red carpet, shimmered in a sexy, Herve Leger mini, which hugged her fat-free frame flawlessly.

Grammy nominee Colbie Caillat (watch her get candid in a RadarOnline.com exclusive video blog), added a splash of color to the red carpet in a playful orange dress with cutout shoulders.

Old Hollywood was resurrected by House star Olivia Wilde, Queen Latifah and Mariah Carey, all who were graciously gowned in classy style.
