Get ready for round two!
Despite making pot shots at members of her party- including former running mate John McCain- in her autobiography Going Rogue, Sarah Palin is once again hitting the campaign trail on behalf of some of the Republican party's most prominent members.
In a statement on her Facebook page entitled "Ride the Tide with Commonsense Candidates!," she called McCain a hero and pledged to help him, Texas governor Rick Perry and Minnesota Representative Michele Bachmann.
"The past year continues to offer the promise of commonsense government in so many areas. There are steps we can all take to get there, one of which is to support candidates who promise to fight FOR the people and AGAINST politics as usual," she wrote. "I'm excited to get out and help elect candidates who will bring those principles to our nation's towns, state houses, and directly to Washington D.C. We will support these candidates and others so that they can continue to fight for our American values."
Palin, who recently became a talking head on Fox News, may not be jumping into any office races herself but will be committed to contests in at least three states per an aide.
We cannot wait for the inevitable SNL skits!
