Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi is shooting up the show biz food chain and isn't shy about showing it, as the Jersey Shore diva recently snubbed another one-time pop culture phenomenon, talk show host Jerry Springer.
The incident took place Friday at Shrine, a restaurant in the MGM Grand at Connecticut’s Foxwoods Resort Casino. Polizzi was there making an appearance, while Springer was at the location filming America's Got Talent.

"Springer was interested in an introduction to Polizzi, but both her manager and her father were opposed to the idea," a source told the NY Post.
A waiter told Polizzi that Springer was nearby and she brushed it off, reportedly saying, "I am way classier than that -- we are not The Hills."
Despite criticism from Italian-American groups, the controversial reality hit surged in popularity, as plenty of dust-ups, hook-ups and break-ups fueled each episode. The show's season finale brought 4.8 million viewers to MTV, more than three times the ratings of the show's season premiere.
