PHOTOS: Stars Dazzle At 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards Despite Rain

Despite the gray skies and the rainy drizzle the stars dazzled on the red carpet Sunday in Beverly Hills at the 67th Annual Golden Globes.

As is often the case when rain falls in usually sunny California there was chaos on the carpet as people vied for space amongst the myriad of umbrellas.

Actors and actresses alike tried their hardest to retain their perfectly coiffed 'dos as the guys, in their standard uniform of black tuxedoes, jostled amongst the girls who were trying their very best to protect their gorgeous gowns from the elements.

Many of the stars rocked multi-colored ribbons on their lapels and chests to honor the brave people of earthquake devastated Haiti and to bring awareness for the plight of those from the impoverished nation.

The Globes, held at the swanky Beverly Hilton Hotel, are usually the favorite and most enjoyable show of the awards season for the nominees and presenters alike with the cream of both TV and the silver screen mingling, the booze flowing and a relaxed party like atmosphere.

The 2010 Globes should be no exception to the rule. And with the British Office star and creator Ricky Gervais as host there should be plenty of light relief and laughs in store.
