Miley Cyrus Puts An End to Hannah Montana

Miley Cyrus is ready to move on.
The teen queen is saying goodbye to the alter ego which skyrocketed her to fame. Reps for Disney confirmed on Friday that the upcoming fourth season of Hannah Montana will be its last.
"You never know in this business . . . but right now we're scheduled to wrap forever after shooting this new batch of episodes," says Disney Channel Worldwide's Adam Bonnett, senior VP/programming.

Production on the last season is slated to begin on January 18 and will wrap at the end of the summer. In between, Cyrus will take a hiatus in April to promote her latest film The Last Song The show will premiere in the late spring and run “at least over a full year.”
The plot will mirror Cyrus’ real-life struggle over leaving the show.
Her character on the show Miley Stewart will be wrestling about “ whether it's time to make a decision to continue being Hannah Montana or just be a regular, ordinary girl."
