Launching Ladies: You Know You Want It

There was a lot of Gossip at Eric Daman’s You Know You Want It book launch in New York on Tuesday night, as the Girls showed up in wearing riveting runway wear. Blake Lively, who rarely does wrong on the red carpet, tried out a très chic look from Stella McCartney’s Fall 2009 collection, wearing the much talked about perforated faux-leather boots with a white button-down and a black blazer, while Jessica Szohr looked simply sexy in a sleeved LBD.

Leighton Meester had another unsuccessful attempt at wearing Louis Vuitton (remember the disaster last May at the MET Costume Institute Gala?), trying out a vividly hued look off the Spring 2010 Runway, missing the mark with her own modifications.

Eric Daman is the costume designer on the hit CW show.
