GM Publicly Drops Tiger Woods
Jan. 13 2010, Published 4:30 a.m. ET
Since his Thanksgiving car crash and subsequent exposures of infidelity, Tiger Woods has been quickly dropped by longtime sponsors such as Accenture and Gatorade. Now, car company GM has announced they have officially cut ties with the pro golfer.
While their endorsement ended in 2008, the company allowed Woods complimentary use of their vehicles. Buick spokesman Dayna Hart told USA Today that the driving deal ended on Dec 31- a date she claims was settled upon before the crash and his departure from golf.
