Greene is used to lots of time spent in the makeup chair. Currently on the big screen as Alice Cullen in New Moon, the actress says even that simple transformation into a teen vampire took time. “They certainly had to paint our faces and our bodies white. It took three hours every morning to play Alice.”
The olive-skinned beauty had to get used to her new look but felt it added to her character’s believability. “At first I thought it doesn’t even look like me,” she said. “You want people to forget they’re watching Ashley Green, you want them watching Alice Cullen.”
The 22-year old has seen her career take off after being part of the Twilight team. She’s starring in the movie Skateland, which is being shown at the Sundance Film Festival, and she’s the lead in a new horror film The Apparition alongside Sebastian Stan. “He’s super, super sweet and incredible talented,” Ashley said of the Gossip Girl hottie.
