According to the Pequannock Police Township report Staub was traveling along Jackson Avenue in Newark, New Jersey, when she stopped at the traffic lights at 8.15am on January 28, 2010.

Another vehicle, that was making a right turn off the Newark Pompton Turnpike, slid into Staub’s car because of the snow and ice.

The reality star refused treatment at the scene of the accident but drove herself and her daughter to Chilton Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Staub was overheard complaining of back pains while her daughter was being pushed around the emergency room in a wheel chair according to an eye witness.

A spokesman for Poquannock police in New Jersey told, "We can confirm that Miss Staub was involved in a minor car accident after the vehicle she was traveling in ice and the car lost control.”

As previously reported Staub has a checkered past - the reality star , who used to go by the name of Beverly Ann Merrill , was indicted on eight felony counts back in 1986, including extortion, cocaine possession, and narcotics conspiracy. She was eventually sentenced to five years probation.
