Jan. 8 2010, Published 5:14 a.m. ET
“Brittany please come back.”
Those heart-breaking words are shouted in a grief-stricken wail on a 911 call by Brittany Murphy’s mother Sharon as an operator gives instructions to try to save the tragic actress.
Brittany’s body was discovered in the bathroom of the Hollywood Hills home she shared with husband Simon Monjack.
Throughout the 911 call Sharon can be heard crying, waling and screaming as she tries to follow the 911 operator’s instructions and relays instructions to Monjack, who performs compressions on his wife’s body.
Sharon says that her daughter is "passed out" and begs over and over for help. She also tells the operator that her daughter is "not awake and is not breathing". When asked if a defibrillator is available she says no.
The operator tells Murphy to lay her daughter on her back on the floor with no pillows under her head and check inside her mouth.
Murphy says that her daughter "just threw up tons of stuff, tons and tons of water.".
When the operator is assured there is nothing in Brittany’s mouth he relays instructions on performing compressions to try to revive Brittany, telling Sharon that they will need to perform 600 of them. At this point it all becomes too much for the grief stricken mom as she wails with grief, but she pulls herself together for a short time, trying to repeat the operator’s instructions.. In the background Brittany's husband, Simon Monjack is attempting the compressions, and at one point the operator tells him he is doing it too slowly.
Monjack continues to attempt compressions on his wife as Brittany's mom cries and wails with incomprehensible pain.
The operator tells Murphy to not stop doing compressions until help gets there.
When asked if Brittany had taken any meds, her distraught mom says "no".
As RadarOnline.com previously reported Murphy died, age 32, on Sunday December 20th 2009.
Murphy’s shocking and sudden death stunned Hollywood and triggered a preliminary investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department.
