Elton John has been helping his rapper pal Eminem stay off drugs. "I've been helping Eminem over the last 18 months and he's doing brilliantly," the Rocket Man said in a BBC radio interview.
Eminem went into drug rehab in 2005 and didn't return to the music business for three years. He later admitted to almost overdosing on methadone, and daily taking "anywhere between 10 to 20 Valium, Ambien; the numbers got so high I don't even know what I was taking."
Elton has been sober for nearly 25 years and has frequently helped other celebs in recent years. "I'm there if they want my help," he said.
