Crack That Whip! Devo Headed To Vancouver

Devo is going to the Olympics: the Whip It rockers will perform at the 2010 Winter Olympic Games February 22 in Vancouver, Canada, rounding out a golden lineup of musical acts for the games that includes acts such as Feist, Usher, Our Lady Peace, and The Fray.
The band's quirky members were joyous for the opportunity to perform on such a celebrated platform.
"We are really excited to have the opportunity to let everyone know that De-evolution is real!" Devo's Jerry Casale told us, while Mark Mothersbaugh said, "We are back with inspirational tomes of truth and neuro-simpatico sonic nuggets for the entire world, not just our species! "

Olympic organizer Christy Nicolay (VANOC) said that "everyone looking forward to seeing them bring their unique brand of live performance to our outdoor amphitheatre under the stars in celebration of the world’s greatest athletes."
