Avril Lavigne Divorce Spills Into Recording Studio

Timing, as they say, is everything and filing for divorce in mid-album when your soon-to-be ex-husband is your producer maybe wasn't the best decision Avril Lavigne has ever made.
When Avril decided to end the marriage in September, the acoustic album Pink Crust was already 75 percent done and scheduled for release in November.
Since then, he's asked for spousal support, she's said 'no way' and they've been unable to compromise on a production schedule that would finish the album.

"The uglier it gets in court, the uglier it gets in the studio," a music agent told The Toronto Sun, adding that mid-2010 is now the best guess for Pink Crust's release.
