Apparently, some people are nostalgic for the olden days of TV dinners on cheap aluminum trays. Not me, unless it's one of Chef Kerry Simon's creations at his restaurant in The Palms Place in Los Vegas.

The Contemporary comfort food is served in-room on classic, ceramic cafeteria-style plates.

TV dinner options include:

-    Murray's Southern fried chicken, paired with creamy mashed potatoes and gravy, a buttermilk biscuit, roasted corn and an apple brown betty

-    Simon's meatloaf with macaroni and cheese, peas and carrots, and chocolate cake

-    The signature roast beef (just like mom's) loaded with mashed potatoes smothered in brown gravy, roasted corn and a delicious brown betty

Prices range from $28 - $30.  Try the chicken.
