One name that had been mentioned, though remains unconfirmed, is lawyer Sorrell Trope, who has handled proceedings for stars including Nicole Kidman, Nicolas Cage and Britney Spears.

Nordegren's marital problems were thrust into the national spotlight following the golfer's November 27 car accident. The incident, which was preceded by an explosive fight, came on the heels of the National Enquirer's bombshell revelation Tiger had been having an affair with breathtaking NYC party girl Rachel Uchitel. Since then, the world-famous golfer, has been accused of affairs with more than a dozen women scattered across the country.
