EXCLUSIVE: Bruce Springsteen's Cousin Died From Accidental Drug Overdose

In October, Bruce Springsteen’s cousin and assistant road manager Lenny Sullivan died suddenly while the E Street Band was on tour in Kansas City, prompting Springsteen to cancel one of their shows. RadarOnline.com has learned that authorities have deemed his death an accidental overdose.

According to a Jackson County, Missouri, official the cause of death was “acute amphetamine and heroin intoxication.” The manner of death was ruled an “accident.”

Sullivan was found dead on October 26 in Kansas City’s Intercontinental Hotel not long before Springsteen was set to take the stage.
"Lenny Sullivan, Bruce's cousin and the assistant road manager of the E Street Band for the last 10 years, passed away today at the age of 36," a statement on Springsteen's Web site read shortly after the news broke. "A warm and sensitive person, he was beloved by Bruce, the Band, the crew, and the entire Thrill Hill family."
