Ron Wood, the aging Rolling Stones guitarist, was arrested Wednesday in London, England in connection with suspicion of assault on his young Russian girlfriend, 21-year-old ex-cocktail waitress Ekaterina Ivanova.
Wood, 62 was released on bail.
"We can confirm that a 62-year-old man from Esher was arrested last night on suspicion of assault in connection with a domestic incident in Claygate High Street," a Surrey Police spokesman told The London Evening Standard. "He has this afternoon been released on bail until a date in January pending further inquiries."
Wood left his wife of 24 years, Jo, for Ivanova last year.
Ivana defended her May-December romance with the rocker in an interview with Grazia magazine this past February. The pair have a 41 year age difference.

“This whole age thing is irrelevant," she said. "Not every 60-year-old is going to be doing what people say 60-year-olds should do, like smoking a pipe, and not every 20-year-old likes to go clubbing either."
She told the magazine she would not be averse to bearing a child for the aging musician -- in a decade.
