Zac Efron & Ashley Tisdale's Lunch Date

They're friends -- onscreen and off!
Hunky Zac Efron and his High School Musical co-star Ashley Tisdale were spotted together Monday as they left their favorite diner Paty's after eating lunch in Toluca Lake, California.
Efron's longtime squeeze Vanessa Hudgens apparently couldn't make it, and Ashley later Tweeted : Eating lunch with my zachary!!! Wishin nessa was here! Its been too long.
After their lunch, the pair hugged each other and parted ways until Ashley found out she received a parking ticket. (drats!)
Last month, Efron wrapped up shooting The Death And Life Of Charlie St. Cloud, his first big screen drama in which he stars in the title role.
Efron plays a young man so overcome by grief at the death of his younger brother that he takes a job as caretaker of the cemetery in which his brother is buried.
The Death And Life Of Charlie St. Cloud opens in 2010.
