Mariah Carey told Larry King she has been abused both “emotionally” and “mentally,” in an interview with the talk show host Wednesday night.
The Vision Of Love singer, when asked if she was ever abused, told the talk show host, "Abuse has several categories."
When King asked her how she got out of the abusive situation, Carey responded: "Well, it's scary. If someone -- I mean, there's other things and other times in my life and things that I will eventually talk about when I write my book ... for me, to really get out, it was difficult, because there was a connection that was not only a marriage, but a business thing, where the person was in control of my life.”
