Britney Spears offers up The Singles Collection, which is just that, featuring remastered versions of her 18 singles to date, from 1998’s “…Baby One More Time” to her latest,“3.”…Eighties favorites Echo & the Bunnymen are back with their tenth studio album, The Fountain, which frontman Ian McCulloch describes as “full of spite and swagger and melancholic beauty”…The Irish lads in Snow Patrol release Up To Now, a collection of favorite songs from their 15-year career, along with three new tracks…

The sixth album from Dashboard Confessional, After the Ending, includes a bonus CD that features acoustic versions of all the songs on the album…R.E.M.’s Live At The Olympia is a double album packed with 39 songs performed during a five-night stand of shows in Dublin in 2007 where the band tested out new material…The latest effort by Tori Amos, Midwinter Graces, is a seasonal album comprised of both reworked classics and original songs…There are also new live DVDs out today by two young American bands who remember which country first championed them and honor it accordingly—The Killers with Live at Royal Albert Hall and Kings of Leon with Live at the O2 London
