The nineteen year old singer cleaned up at the American Music Awards, even beating out Michael Jackson for Artist of the Year.

The match up between the teen and the fallen icon was the talk of the town leading up to Sunday's awards shows. While Swift has been the industry's darling all year, the nostalgia for Jackson's legacy also seemed to know no bounds.
Swift, who was in London and accepted her awards via satellite, also won Favorite Female Pop/Rock Artist and Favorite Female Country Artist.
