Susan Boyle TV Guide Special Coming Soon!

The trials and tribulations of Britain’s Got Talent breakout Susan Boyle will be chronicled in an December TV Guide special titled, I Dreamed a Dream: The Susan Boyle Story.
“Susan Boyle is one of those rare personalities who has captivated millions of fans around the world with her undeniable vocal talent and incredible life story,” TV Guide's Ryan O’Hara told RadarOnline.com. “For the first time ever, fans will have an opportunity to see Susan Boyle shine on stage in her own spotlight, witness amazing musical performances in a concert setting, as well as gain insight into the challenges she overcame as she rose to an international phenomenon.”
Fremantle Media’s Lisa Honig told RadarOnline.com that "this television special will allow them to get to know her and her life story even better."
Honig said that viewers will be enthralled by Boyle's odyssey from a spinster living in the quiet anonymity of a small Scottish village, to having one of the most recognizable faces in the world, with more than 300 million YouTube views to her credit.

Demand for the the 48-year-old Scottish singer's album was unprecedented, as Amazon reported that advanced sales numbers of the recording had trumped numbers generated by artists such as U2, Bruce Springsteen and Coldplay, to name a few.
Boyle's debut album, I Dreamed a Dream, which also features covers of classics such as "Daydream Believer" and "Amazing Grace," is in stores now; I Dreamed a Dream: The Susan Boyle Story debuts Sunday, December 13 at 8/7c on the TV Guide Network.
