"Farrah's and my relationship was based on a deep love and respect for one another and for our son Redmond," O'Neal said in a statement.
"After discussing how her financial affairs would be handled in the event of he passing, we agreed that our son Redmond would be the primary beneficiary of her estate. These were Farrah's wishes and I am perfectly happy with them."
Redmond was left $4.5 million and $100,000 to her ex-lover Gregory Lawrence Lott. She also gave $500,000 each to both her nephew Gregory Walls and her father James Fawcett.
