Jessica Simpson Calls Melrose Place “Crap” After Ashlee’s Firing
Nov. 2 2009, Published 1:39 p.m. ET
An irritated Jessica Simpson broke her silence on her Twitter page Monday about sister Ashlee Simpson-Wentz's ouster from the CW's Melrose Place remake.
"CW catching up on MP.who writes this crap?" Jessica Tweeted more than a week after the Oct. 23 announcement her sister's character will be killed off the show.
Jessica, 29, continued: "i have had bad scripts to work with, but this?thank God my sister is amazing and got you some press."

The Dukes Of Hazzard beauty had been promoting her sister's appearances on the remake as recently as Oct. 20, but obviously the show's change-of-plans have killed their chances of getting any more free plugs on Simpson's popular Twitter page.
Simpson-Wentz's character will make her final appearance on the show in January.
Melrose Place airs Tuesdays on the CW network at 9/8c.
