Good Morning America may not want Adam Lambert, but the folks at CBS' The Early Show sure do.
ABC announced Tuesday morning that it was canceling Lambert's scheduled performance on GMA Wednesday morning following his controversial appearance at the American Music Awards on ABC on Sunday, during which he kissed a male guitar player on stage and simulated oral sex.
In announcing its decision, an ABC spokesperson said: "Given his controversial American Music Awards performance, we were concerned about airing a similar concert so early in the morning."

CBS, on the other hand, acted fast to lock in the American Idol runner-up for Wednesday's The Early Show, saying he'll not only perform live but would also discuss his recent performance at the American Music Awards.
Lambert will also appear on Wednesday night's Late Show With David Letterman in a segment that was pre-taped Monday.
