One huge draw for the night's events was pop princess Rihanna, as the Barbadian beauty looks on top of her game the release of her new album, Russian Roulette, less than ten months after her well-publicized beating at the hands of then-boyfriend Chris Brown.

"I love Rihanna, she's so beautiful," Wizards of Waverly Place beauty Selena Gomez told reporter Mayleen Ramey. "And she's so strong."

Singer Chani agreed, saying "You will really see me go crazy!" when Rihanna or another favorite, Janet Jackson, took the stage.

Another highly-anticipated presence at the show was American Idol standout-turned-pop star Adam Lambert, whose second-place finish on the hit Fox show has done little to diminish his star power in his post-Idol career.

Dirty Sexy Money star Candis Cayne said she's "a super amazing fan of Adam Lambert's and excited about hearing his pipes," while another Idol alum, Blake Lewis, said he was eager to see Lambert in his own element, away from the show’s stage.

Other artists at the receiving end of props from their colleagues included Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez and the late Michael Jackson.

With all the amazing fashion on display, the most extravagant get-up may have belonged to ex-Idol judge Paula Abdul, who needed the help of four people to get around.

The Straight Up singer had a sense of humor about the excess on her Twitter page later Sunday.
