Since her book Still Standing hit stores November 9, Carrie has been making the rounds of television shows and on Monday, she told Meredith Viera on The Today Show that she shot the tape of herself alone when she was 17 and sent it to her boyfriend. “It was the biggest mistake of my life... nothing is private anymore, nothing," said the de-throned beauty queen.
“I think they would be shocked,” Vetrano said when asked what people would think if they saw the tape. “I thought it was disgusting, to be honest with you.” When reports said that the reason Carrie settled her lawsuit with the Miss California pageant was because of the sex tape Carrie’s lawyer told RadarOnline.com exclusively that “many of the rumors circulating are inaccurate and misleading.”
Vetrano questioned Carrie’s intentions in stepping into the fray about gay marriage. “Why put kids through the fear that was put into my generation about being gay?” she said. “People should be more open and accepting.”
