It got worse from there the next morning: “I wouldn't speak to him so he punched, choked, restrained me, and then he continued to beat me and then rape me. As he restrained me he held his fist to my face and said if I screamed he would kill me, and had no problem doing it. He said if he killed me no one would ever find out and he could just leave the country. Alter raping me with a foreign object, he started choking and suffocating me until I lost consciousness. My body went into shock, I started shaking, hyperventilating, and could not see properly. He resuscitated me, I threw up and then he continued to beat with his fist and told me I was stupid. He held me hostage in my home.”
