David Hasselhoff was found passed out at his home on Friday and an ambulance has been called, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively.

Expert Warns: Hasselhoff Will Die If He Does Not Stop Drinking

"Paramedics were called to the (address omitted) in Encino for medical aid," Los Angeles City Fire Department spokesman Erik Scott told RadarOnline.com exclusively. "Paramedics arrived at approximately 11:51 am and later transported the patient a nearby hospital."

It is not yet known if alcohol is involved in the incident.

Hasselhoff has a long history of alcoholism and landing in the hospital with alcohol poisoning.

His most recent incident occurred in Europe with the star going on a major bender that required hospitalization. Hasselhoff flew back to the U.S. from Vancouver earlier this week. He was discovered in his Encino, CA home passed out around mid day Friday.
