Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has denied that he was smoking pot at a party -- claiming he was only puffing on a rolled-up cigarette.
The multi-millionaire wizard actor was photographed on the front page of a British newspaper The Mirror allegedly smoking a joint with his face painted at a party in North London.

But a rep for the 20-year-old star -- who is a pin-up to million of teenage girls around the world -- claimed he had done nothing wrong.
The spokesman said: “Daniel does smoke the occasional roll-up cigarette, but he was not doing anything more than this.”
But the accusation will still come as a shock to his army of fans and anger film bosses in charge of the Harry Potter franchise.
The photographs were taken by Wadia Tazi -- a guest at the party in a high rise block in the Camden district of London.
"At one point, a girl dragged him away, saying: 'come on Daniel, follow me. You don't trust me, do you?' She pulled him into the toilet and started drawing a huge comedy beard on his face," Tazi is reported to have told the newspaper.
The scandal comes just four months after Radcliffe’s co-star Jamie Waylett admitted that he grew cannabis plants.

The 19-year-old, who plays Hogwarts bully Vincent Crabbe, escaped a spell behind bars and was instead ordered to do 120 hours of unpaid work.
With the Harry Potter series winding-down Radcliffe has been trying to cultivate his image by taking edgier acting parts in recent times.

At 17, the actor appeared naked in the West End show Equus in an apparent effort to shake of his clean-cut Hogwarts image.
He has also appeared as a sex-obsessed, chain-smoking send-up of himself in the Ricky Gervais sitcom Extras.

Radcliffe is currently filming the last Harry Potter movies, Deathly Hallows, which will be released in two parts.
And he recently signed on as the lead for the upcoming Broadway show, How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying.
He will play the plum part of J. Pierrepont Finch, a window cleaner who rises to the top of a huge company while, of course, wooing and winning a girl along the way.
